Top Judo Utrecht

What does Top Judo Utrecht stand for? 

Top Judo Utrecht is an independent foundation in which young talented judokas from the city and region of Utrecht are given the opportunity to reach a higher level develop.

TJU has been in existence since 2010. 

The philosophy of Top Judo Utrecht is simple: judoka's specialized competition training and extra facilities that the participating associations cannot offer themselves. Collaboration with these associations is essential here. Judokas are thus able to grow to their top level. Of course all under the guidance of professionals, who dedicate themselves selflessly. A physiotherapist and a sports dietician provide medical support. Top Judo Utrecht has won the title Utrecht Sports Association of the year 2014 in February 2015.

In 2019, Top judo utrecht became the winner of the Club of the year election in the municipality of Utrecht. These prizes are a motivation to work even harder in order to realize the ambition of sending two judokas trained in Utrecht to the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020.
